All of our thermocouples and lead wires are made from specially selected, oxygen-free Type T alloys. This means the maximum conformity error is the greater of plus or minus 0.5 degrees C or .4% of the temperature being read in C (this is one-half the deviation permitted for standard thermocouple quality materials). These errors can be eliminated through calibration procedures and are not indicative of the total measurement error which may be found in a particular system.
